Your Bulldog guide will lead a walking tour exploring the trails carved from the original dikes of the rice-growing era and sharing the story of Dean Hall Plantation from colonial times through the post Civil War era and the development of a portion of the plantation into a modern-day natural attraction. You will also see where popular movies have been filmed, including “The Patriot” and “The Notebook”.
Your tour guide will introduce you to some of the onsite experts of Cypress Gardens... the naturalist,horticulturist, and lepidopterist (butterfly expert) who will enhance your understanding of the natural wonders along the way.
