Join Bulldog Tours and SpiritLine Cruises for a unique tour combo experiencing the best Charleston has to offer on the water and on land. Purchase price includes a Charleston Harbor Tour and the Charleston Ghost and Graveyard Tour. Please note this is not a combined tour, but rather a discounted price for two of Charleston's most popular tours.
Charleston Harbor Tour:
SpiritLine Cruises is the ONLY Harbor Tour company in Charleston that offers visitors live narration by a certified City Tour Guide. What does that mean? You will learn fascinating, historically accurate Charleston history while you cruise the gentle waves of her harbor. Our knowledgeable and entertaining tour guides are certified by the City of Charleston and enjoy interacting with guests. You will see notable American landmarks, such as Fort Sumter, the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown, the Battery, the Ravenel Bridge, Castle Pinckney and other sites from the past and present. You will hear enthralling tales of the city's colorful past as well as scintillating facts about her most-interesting former citizens. Perfect for all ages, the whole family can enjoy cruising along the coastline of our beautiful "Holy City".
Charleston Ghost and Graveyard Tour:
The Charleston Ghost and Graveyard Tour gives you an exclusive opportunity to walk inside the gates of one of Charleston's oldest graveyards after dark. When all the other walking tours are looking in through the wrought iron fence, you'll be on the inside. Learn about the history of Charleston's graveyards, and hear the stories of the famous individuals who found their final resting place in the Holy City. You've heard the spooky Charleston ghost stories, right? Now experience them on this up-close-and-personal tour that takes you where others won't. Graveyards are endearing pockets of Charleston - so much so that they are often referred to here as simply "gardens." We love them - they're full of history, intrigue, and tales of love and loss.

A beautiful way to explore the Charleston shore and the narrator was entertaining, knowledgeable and fun. He made the trip worthwhile! .90 minutes allowed us the see the most important sites and Fort Sumter from the boat.Michel - Tripadvisor
Truly enjoyed our late night Ghost & Graveyard tour with our guide. She was fun with great stories of the local ghost residents. Her knowledge of Charleston history and folklore was very impressive. I would highly recommend Bulldog tours. The staff was very friendly, pricing reasonable and tour ran as scheduled.Kate - Google Reviews
A great experience, our guide was very knowledgeable of area history, & very personable. He intertwined history, current events, personal stories, & a wealth of information regarding not only the surrounding area, but, South Carolina as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. I highly recommend this & would do it again.MC187 - Tripadvisor
I went on this tour with a buddy of mine and we had an excellent time. Our guide was an amazing story teller. He did a nice blend of history and horror. The tour itself was worth every penny, and I highly recommend.Daearz77 - Tripadvisor

Frequently Asked Questions
What do the Tour Activity Levels mean?
- EASY – Walking tours are designed for a leisurely pace but may include uneven sidewalks, some stairs and a combination of walking and standing for up to two hours.
- MODERATE – Tours will include a more active pace at times including stairs and uneven terrain. Expect to be on your feet for the duration of the tour covering a minimum of a mile and half of the area.
- ACTIVE – A high physical activity level is required to walk and climb narrow stairs. This tour is not recommended for guests who require canes or walkers.
Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
Advanced purchase is strongly recommended, as tours often sell out well in advance. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance.
What if it rains?
Tours will go on rain or shine. If there is a hurricane in Charleston at the time of the tour, there is no need to show up. We will be busy boarding up windows or throwing a Hurricane Party. (Seriously though, we run in every kind of weather.)
Is the tour wheelchair- and/or stroller-accessible?
Our downtown tours are wheelchair and stroller accessible, but it is advised that all guests take caution navigating the uneven terrain of Charleston.
How many stops?
Guests will make several stops throughout their trip to hear ghost stories, legends and facts about respective sites. Each tour guide’s route is unique, and will feature a number of stops depending on factors such as their route, the weather, and even your questions!
How much walking? Is it a fast paced tour?
Our ghost tours are about 1-1.5 miles in distance, which may vary. We seek to provide you with plenty of stories and legends while keeping a comfortable pace with guests.
Do I need a flashlight?
Your tour guide is equipped with a flashlight to guide the way as well as to gesture and gather attention to objects relevant to their stories.
Is the tour scary?
Different things scare different people. However, these tours are primarily story-based experiences. Nothing should jump out in front of you, and if it does, we recommend you run!
Is it appropriate for kids?
We feel that all of our ghost tours are appropriate for kids with the exception of the Haunted Jail tour which is offered for ages 12 and up.
Do we go through a graveyard?
Our Charleston Ghost and Graveyard Tour, Magnolia Cemetery Tour and VIP Ghost Package feature exclusive visits inside of historic graveyards.
What if I am hard of hearing?
Our professional guides are skilled public speakers and work hard to make sure everyone can hear during the tour. If you are hard of hearing, please let your guide know and we’ll ensure you get a front-row seat.
Is parking available?
For Downtown Tours:
There are a few precious metered parking spaces throughout the Historic District, though they require constant feeding. For our 10 pm tours, meter parking is free. Otherwise, we recommend parking in a paid lot, parking at the Visitors Center and riding the Downtown Area Shuttle (DASH), or parking in one of the garages around The City Market. Here are some suggestions:
51 PINCKNEY STREET CHARLESTON, SC 29401
Cumberland Street Garage
82 CUMBERLAND STREET CHARLESTON, SC 29401
Concord/Cumberland Parking Garage
1 CUMBERLAND STREET CHARLESTON, SC 29401

What if I am unhappy with the tour?
Our #1 priority at Bulldog Tours is giving great tours. If you don't have a great experience, let us know and we promise to make it right with a full refund or voucher for a future visit.
Are bathrooms available during the tour?
Restrooms are available at our office where the tour begins. Although there may be restrooms available along the tour route, we encourage guests to use the restroom before starting a tour because our guides will not interrupt the tour for bathroom stops.
Are tours offered only in English?
Yes, we only offer tours in English at this time. Please email or call us if you would like to make arrangements for your own interpreter to join the tour.
Should I tip my Bulldog tour guide?
If you feel your tour guide has provided a great experience, gratuities are encouraged— and welcomed—at the end of your tour. We believe that recognizing excellent service is a personal matter, though 15-20% of your booking fee is a good rule of thumb. Gratuities for your guide are always appreciated, but never expected.
